The Oceaneva Deep Marine Explorer II Titanium is simply a gorgeous, purpose-driven watch. It's difficult to get a photo of the turquoise mother-of-pearl dial that accurately captures the beauty of it - it changes in the light, reflecting and subtly changing color depending on the angle and intensity of the light source. It is reminiscent of the way the water looks in the Caribbean seas on a clear day - shimmering light blue-green.
Unlike the stainless steel version of this watch, which is admittedly tough as a tank but can cause wearer fatigue over time due to its weight, this titanium version feels barely noticeable on the wrist by comparison.
The finishing on the titanium case and bracelet are top notch; especially notable since titanium is so difficult to polish evenly. The Selitta movement has been adjusted and timed to well within its limits, making for a solid and accurate mechanical timepiece.
This is as close to a perfect summer watch as you can get - at a price that defies most of it's overinflated competitors!

Great watch; excellent on timegrapher (+6s / 303amp / 0.0ms beat error!!!). The titanium case is lightweight, weighing 127.87g as fitted for me with 5 links removed...half-links are included to dial in the sizing.
The MOP dial is a little flat viewed straight-on, as MOP dials often are; however, at an angle, the dial springs to life with lovely dynamic lightplay. Some review notes:
1. I suggest that the lugs should be drilled...I'd hate to scratch the damascus or Ti case to swap straps or bracelet.
2. The bracelet uses pins, rather than screws for sizing; at that MSRP, I expected screws.
3. For a 1250m professional diver's watch, the bracelet clasp doesn't have a foldover dive clasp for added security. I asked the support team about that and it appears that a foldover security dive clasp would add $60 to the cost...fair enough; I can do without.
4. Finally, there's no on-the-fly adjustment in the clasp; again, at the list price point, that's expected.
In summary, this is a fantastic watch and when discounted, it's a no-brainer purchase (so I bought two). Thanks, Oceaneva; I'm shopping for my next purchase!

The watch finish is very well done. The Sellita movement appears to be accurate, and runs smoothly. The titanium bracelet was easy to size, and is light, but it does rattle a lot as I move my wrist in normal activities. The dial is finished well and is easy to read. It took an extremely long time to receive my order so I didn't have much opportunity to wear the watch enough to fully evaluate it. I will likely either add to my review or do a new one once I have had adequate time to truly allow the watch to break-in and find its spot on my wrist. The customer service team did respond promptly to my queries about delays and were helpful, so I anticipate any future service questions or requirements will be dealt with swiftly and professionally.
