Customer photo review of Oceaneva Deep Marine Explorer II Titanium Limited Edition Watch Copper Dial

Nice watch..Not quite as much "PoP" from the copper dial in person as it looks in the website.. would have been a full 5 stars uf not for that. The rest of the watch is exactly as advertised and it is built as well as some of the much more expensive watches I own. Overall I am pleased with the purchase and can definitely recommend!!

Customer photo review of Oceaneva Deep Marine Explorer II Titanium Limited Edition Watch Copper Dial

This watch is beautiful. I recently purchased a similar model from a prominent watch company. I returned that one because the dial didn't "pop" the way it appeared in promotional pictures. This one is spectacular and the polished watch face is quite beautiful and has a definite presence on my wrist. I'm very pleased I went with the Oceaneva model!

Watch is solid I do find the crown screw mechanism to be substandard on this watch as it does not operate smoothly.

Store owner replied: Thanks for the review. Sorry you are not 100% satisfied. Every watch is tested on a timegraph before shipping which included testing the screw down crown. It functioned as intended here. If you are comparing to other brands that could be the issue. Every brand is different and has a different feel. Also, from our experience grade 2 titanium is a bit more "grippy" on the screw down than 316L stainless. Grade 2 titanium is harder to polish that 316L. It should smooth out more once the threads get some wear after 20 or so uses.

Watch arrived and was professionally sized. First wind had power reserve just a little shy of the promised run time. Consistency of -1 s per hour, not exactly stellar for a Swiss movement. Arranged to have it calibrated but lost the watch due to a pin failure. No watch, no warranty says both the seller and Oceaneva. Another example of warranty not being worth the paper it’s written on.

Store owner replied: Sorry you were disappointed. -1 second timekeeping is chronometer standard for an automatic and way above the specs in on this movement! Basically, you hit the jackpot! The buyer did contact us about losing it on new years eve. He of course cannot prove pin failure. Not something we have an issue with. We will say if the person sizing it removed the bracelet, you must make sure that the bracelet us full attached properly. Sometimes it can appear that way but upon closer inspection you will find a pin on one side is not actually in the hole. This could lead to failure at some point. The buyer contacted us an about this. We explained that a warranty it not insurance for loss. Warranty doesn't cover loss. He did contact us later and say he found it but he did not update his review.
