Another fantastic experience from Oceaneva! This might be one of my favorite watches of all time in my collection. The functionality is fantastic, accuracy has been plus of minus 4 seconds over the past week. The meteorite face is phenomenal; out of 3 watches with a meteorite face that I own, this one is the largest and really shines with the pattern and colors from the cut of meteorite! Legibility is great, in all lighting conditions and has been great to use in the cockpit at night. I have no fear to wear it in a pool or go into the ocean. My other chronographs can not even get wet to be honest! Worth every dollar, love the exclusivity and will be adding more to my collection with new releases! I do not have a large wrist, about 6.75 and it fits okay. It’s a little large but not overhanging. Overall, love it and would highly recommend one for yourself!

This is my 3rd watch with Oceaneva as I got the 1250 GMT, the 6000M titanium and now the chrono. Overall, they have been great watches. I get compliments all the time. The construction and quality materials used by Oceaneva makes these watches feel great. The Chrono (Meteorite) is no exemption! I am not a watch expert, neither claim to be one, but I own two Rolexes, 3 Breitling's, a Panerai, and couple of other watches like Hamilton's, and Marathons. I can tell you, Oceaneva feels right up there with those more expensive brand watches for half or a fraction of the price that I paid for my other watches. Please keep in mind, I am not bashing my other watches as obviously they are great, and I do love them and keep them maintained, serviced and in my watch case, However, the point I am trying to make here is that you can't go wrong by including Oceaneva in your watch collections. Thanks Oceaneva for keeping your watches made with great quality and competitive materials, great specifications and most of all "affordable" for all.

This is my 6th Oceaneva along with my 5 Aquacy. I love the dial and grade 5 titanium. Again for the price it is a very good bargain. For the good first, great build quality and attention to detail. The dial and layout of subdials are perfect for what the watch is intended for. The depth rating at this price is magnificent. The rubber band is high quality. Now the bad. On the timegrapher you can see it is a little to fast for my liking +15-19 in most positions. The watch definitely does not like crown up as you can see the line separation. I am hoping this is just a break in period for it to settle down as I wear it around. While I like that it can go down to 1000m, I really don't think many of us divers will go past the 100m mark. I would suggest making it 200-300m and making it as thin as possible, and trying to keep a 40-42mm face. My only other item not good or bad just preference is that a watch this nice should have the option of an all titanium band. I would like an all titanium band like my Rolex, Omega, and Ball watches have. But, again Oceaneva has outdone themselves and many other higher end watches. Would not ever hesitate to recommend there products to people looking for a high-end watch at a reasonable price, supporting made in AMERICA products. 🤙

We did want to share a few helpful details that may give you a clearer picture of its performance. Lift Angle Setting: You are running at 52 degrees. The proper setting for this movement is 51 degrees. Running the time graphr at 52 degrees can make the watch appear 2–5 seconds worse than it actually is, which may account for the difference you're seeing. Our Pre-Ship Testing: We shipped approximately 300 units. Every single one was fully wound and tested on a time graph before leaving us. Anything over 16 seconds was not shipped. Out of 300 we only saw 2 units over 16 seconds. That said, watches can be bumped during transit, which can affect accuracy after they arrive. What to Expect from Your Unit: The overall AVERAGE we observed across shipments was around 8 or so seconds per day, which is in line with our advertised specification. Many units shipped at ±1 to 6 seconds per day, and two shipped at a perfect zero. Which unit each customer received was simply luck of the draw. Charge Level Matters: These movements keep better time when well charged. Like most mechanical movements, timekeeping performance can decline when the power reserve drops below roughly 25% — so keeping it wound consistently will give you the best results. Industry Accuracy Benchmarks: For context, here's how standard mechanical movement ratings compare: 1) Swiss Certified Chronometer — rated –4/+6 seconds per day 2) SW200 standard — rated up to ±30 seconds per day 3) Valjoux 7750 standard chrono— rated up to ±20 seconds per day 4) ETA 2824 standard — rated up to ±30 seconds per day Testing Position Affects Results: One more important note: a time graph reading in a single position is a useful baseline, but timekeeping naturally shifts depending on how the watch is oriented. Position changes alone can affect readings by 3 to 15 seconds. For reference, certified chronometers are tested across six different positions to establish an accurate rating. I just received my new Oceaneva Waverunner Chronograph, and all I can say is wow. The case is absolutely fantastic—rugged, substantial, and built like it could survive the next world war. The watch has an incredible presence on the wrist without feeling overwhelming. Oceaneva really nailed the proportions, and the watch fits perfectly. The meteorite dial is the star of the show. Pictures simply don't do it justice. The texture, depth, and unique patterning make it mesmerizing to look at, and it catches the light beautifully throughout the day. Every glance at the dial reminds me why meteorite is such a special material. This is my third Oceaneva, and somehow it's become my favorite of the three. Our experience thus far is our 4155 chronograph movement is that is more reliable overall than Swiss movements we have dealt with for 20 years. Of course we knew this already as we tested the movement for months prior to releasing it. But like anything else with moving parts it can occasionally break down. It is a top notch, high quality movement.
So far so good! looks and feels great. This is my second review of this watch and the aesthetics of this watch is awesome. Chrono is a must have. Thanks Oceaneva.

This is my 3rd watch with Oceaneva as I got the 1250 GMT, the 6000M titanium and now the chrono. Overall, they have been great watches. I get compliments all the time. The construction and quality materials used by Oceaneva makes these watches feel great. The Chrono (Meteorite) is no exemption! I am not a watch expert, neither claim to be one, but I own two Rolexes, 3 Breitling's, a Panerai, and couple of other watches like Hamilton's, and Marathons. I can tell you, Oceaneva feels right up there with those more expensive brand watches for half or a fraction of the price that I paid for my other watches. Please keep in mind, I am not bashing my other watches as obviously they are great, and I do love them and keep them maintained, serviced and in my watch case, However, the point I am trying to make here is that you can't go wrong by including Oceaneva in your watch collections. This is my 6th Oceaneva along with my 5 Aquacy. I love the dial and grade 5 titanium. Again for the price it is a very good bargain. For the good first, great build quality and attention to detail. The dial and layout of subdials are perfect for what the watch is intended for. The depth rating at this price is magnificent. The rubber band is high quality. Now the bad. On the timegrapher you can see it is a little to fast for my liking +15-19 in most positions. The watch definitely does not like crown up as you can see the line separation. I am hoping this is just a break in period for it to settle down as I wear it around. While I like that it can go down to 1000m, I really don't think many of us divers will go past the 100m mark. I would suggest making it 200-300m and making it as thin as possible, and trying to keep a 40-42mm face. My only other item not good or bad just preference is that a watch this nice should have the option of an all titanium band. I would like an all titanium band like my Rolex, Omega, and Ball watches have. But, again Oceaneva has outdone themselves and many other higher end watches. Would not ever hesitate to recommend there products to people looking for a high-end watch at a reasonable price, supporting made in AMERICA products. 🤙

We did want to share a few helpful details that may give you a clearer picture of its performance. Lift Angle Setting: You are running at 52 degrees. The proper setting for this movement is 51 degrees. Running the time graphr at 52 degrees can make the watch appear 2–5 seconds worse than it actually is, which may account for the difference you're seeing. Our Pre-Ship Testing: We shipped approximately 300 units. Every single one was fully wound and tested on a time graph before leaving us. Anything over 16 seconds was not shipped. Out of 300 we only saw 2 units over 16 seconds. That said, watches can be bumped during transit, which can affect accuracy after they arrive. What to Expect from Your Unit: The overall AVERAGE we observed across shipments was around 8 or so seconds per day, which is in line with our advertised specification. Many units shipped at ±1 to 6 seconds per day, and two shipped at a perfect zero. Which unit each customer received was simply luck of the draw. Charge Level Matters: These movements keep better time when well charged. Like most mechanical movements, timekeeping performance can decline when the power reserve drops below roughly 25% — so keeping it wound consistently will give you the best results. Industry Accuracy Benchmarks: For context, here's how standard mechanical movement ratings compare: 1) Swiss Certified Chronometer — rated –4/+6 seconds per day 2) SW200 standard — rated up to ±30 seconds per day 3) Valjoux 7750 standard chrono— rated up to ±20 seconds per day 4) ETA 2824 standard — rated up to ±30 seconds per day Testing Position Affects Results: One more important note: a time graph reading in a single position is a useful baseline, but timekeeping naturally shifts depending on how the watch is oriented. Position changes alone can affect readings by 3 to 15 seconds. For reference, certified chronometers are tested across six different positions to establish an accurate rating. I just received my new Oceaneva Waverunner Chronograph, and all I can say is wow. The case is absolutely fantastic—rugged, substantial, and built like it could survive the next world war. The watch has an incredible presence on the wrist without feeling overwhelming. Oceaneva really nailed the proportions, and the watch fits perfectly. The meteorite dial is the star of the show. Pictures simply don't do it justice. The texture, depth, and unique patterning make it mesmerizing to look at, and it catches the light beautifully throughout the day. Every glance at the dial reminds me why meteorite is such a special material. This is my third Oceaneva, and somehow it's become my favorite of the three. The combination of exceptional build quality, stunning aesthetics, and outstanding wrist presence makes this a watch I can't stop wearing. If you're on the fence about the Waverunner Chronograph, don't be. It's a phenomenal watch that exceeds expectations in every way. Now I just have to figure out how to keep my wife from noticing there's another watch in the collection. 😄

I'm always amazed at how Oceaneva take such extreme watches and make the so incredibly wearable. This watch is beautiful. the fit and finish punches way about the price point. I know it's rated at 1000 m but this watch is too beautiful and will never touch water. Great design, great build and a really great watch. Yep I'm impressed great job.

Store owner replied: Sorry you were not satisfied. It can happen. Mechanical movements with almost 300 pieces can break sometimes. Our experience thus far is our 4155 chronograph movement is that is more reliable overall than Swiss movements we have dealt with for 20 years. Of course we knew this already as we tested the movement for months prior to releasing it. But like anything else with moving parts it can occasionally break down. It is a top notch, high quality movement.
So far so good! looks and feels great. This is my second review of this watch and the aesthetics of this watch is awesome. Chrono is a must have. Thanks Oceaneva.

Oceaneva has once again surpassed my expectations. This watch is so much better than I expected. The entire presentation is first class: from the incredible box to the warranty cards to the actual watch this company continues to impress. I have 5 Oceaneva watches and love every one of them. The Biggest problem is that they keep coming up with new models that are amazing. You can say "for the price" but really at any price these are great watches. Keep up your great work!
